Frequently Asked Questions
Do you only work with nonprofits?
No. CC Field Operations works with nonprofits, community organizations, values-aligned small businesses, startups, and independent operators—especially teams doing mission-driven or community-facing work.
Do you provide implementation support, or just planning?
Both. Some clients need a clear plan and handoff. Others need ongoing support to keep priorities moving, coordinate stakeholders, track progress, and make sure new systems stick.
Can you facilitate retreats or board sessions?
Yes. Facilitation-only engagements can include agenda design, pre-work prompts, live facilitation, timekeeping, and an outcomes memo with decisions, action items, and owners.
Do you write grants?
Grant writing may be scoped depending on fit, timeline, and capacity. Core fundraising services focus on readiness, grant strategy, calendar planning, narrative banks, and systems that reduce last-minute scrambling.
What if our team has limited capacity?
That is exactly what the work is designed for. Engagements are built around realistic priorities, simple tools, and capacity-aware implementation steps.
What tools do you use?
Whatever fits the team. Notion, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, shared trackers, and simple templates are common. The emphasis is on tools the team will actually use.
How long does an engagement take?
It depends on scope. Some projects can be completed as a focused sprint over a few weeks. Others run over several months with working sessions, synthesis, deliverables, and implementation support.
